Frankincense extract capsules can be of interest to people who focus on maintaining joint health through a possible positive influence of frankincense.

In addition to numerous other substances (e.g. essential oils, tanning agents, etc.), frankincense resin contains 5-8% boswellic acids. Frankincense Extract Capsules contain boswellic acids, which are known to have anti-inflammatory (antiphlogistic) effects. Inflammation is characterized by redness, swelling, edema, warmth and impaired organ function. Inflammatory diseases are therefore associated with an increased formation of leukotrienes in the organism. If this enzyme is inactivated, no leukotrienes can form.
