CLA (BIOVERA) Capsules 1000mg

A modified form of linoleic acid is CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). Conjugated linoleic acids are formed from linoleic acid in the rumen of cows, sheep and goats by enzymes of the bacterium Butyrovibrio fibrisolvens. Animal experiments indicate that CLA has an antioxidant effect and has a beneficial effect on glucose and lipid metabolism. If CLA was added to the feed of rats with diabetes, the disturbed sugar metabolism normalized and the increased insulin concentration in the blood decreased. In rabbits and hamsters fed CLA, fat levels decreased and both fat-free mass and water levels increased.

However, it has not been scientifically proven that the biological effects of conjugated linoleic acid also apply to humans, or that CLA has a health-promoting effect on humans.

Recommended intake: 1 gel capsule 1-2 times a day, preferably 1 hour before each meal.
