Garcinia cambogia is a fruit native to Asia also known as Malabar tamarind, brindleberry or kudam puli. The pumpkin-like fruit is rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin B and many other nutrients that are very important for the human body. HCA (hydroxycitric acid) is obtained from the bark of Garcinia Cambogia, which is said to have a positive effect on fat breakdown and fat absorption in the body.
