Chia seeds organic KBA bag 250g

Chia seeds can easily be sprinkled over salads, fruit or spreads, for example. Or added to dressings, mueslis, soups, smoothies or yoghurts. In combination with liquid, chia seeds get a gel-like consistency, which is why they are particularly suitable for baking.

Chia seeds are about 20 percent protein, 30 percent fat, and up to 40 percent carbohydrates. The recommended daily amount of 15 g contains around 5.5 g fiber and 2.7 g ALA (alpha-linolenic acid).

Recommended intake: According to Novel Food VO(EG) 258/97 and 2013/50/EU, the maximum daily portion is 15 g. Consume with sufficient liquid.

Caution: allergy sufferers and interaction with blood-thinning drugs (acetylsalicylic acid/ASA/aspirin)
